Lisa Gainor, Hello Designer’s Creative Director, believes that communication design is at the heart of human experience. As a “jack of many trades”-branding, print, web, marketing, color, inspiration, information and blogging-her intention is to communicate clear messaging and emotion that will help inspire positive and sustainable change for her clients.

Lisa began her career ten years ago in San Francisco at Addis Creson, a design consultancy committed to creating positive change for people, companies and communities. After relocating to Chicago in 2001 she worked with OWP/P Architects for six years as their branding designer. In 2007, Lisa developed relationships with local Chicago retailers Crate and Barrel and Paper Source where she specialized in print and interactive brand communication.

Today Lisa is on the board of directors for AIGA Chicago, serving as their Developmental Co-Chair. AIGA, the professional association for design, purpose is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool, and vital cultural force. AIGA is committed to stimulating thinking about design through the exchange of ideas and information.

Lisa’s work has been featured on macromedia.com, in AIGA and at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
