Our brand has a strong and unique aesthetic, requiring extensive “crafting” and staging for lifestyle layouts, far more than the traditional “box” layout of a typical catalog. She learned the brand and stewarded several beautiful catalogs to market. In addition, Lisa played an important role in our website redesign – including the top navigation bar design, scale of photography and layout of landing pages. Lisa has a unique mix of both creative and process leadership skills – a great combination!”

Paper Source customers look to the bimonthly catalog to enliven inspiration for their personal projects. Lisa lead the catalog process; sample making, product placement, story line, photography, design and print production from start to finish.

She wrote this article about the designer, industrial designer Dario Antonioni, who is behind one of our favorite stores Flight001. Though we don’t like flying, shopping for modern and innovative travel products suits us just fine. They had a huge selection of music that is desperately hard to find any where else especially since Tower Records closed up shop.

Puma City, Boston Photo By Danny Bright

As Hello Designers finds a balance between retail and architecture clients and we stumbled upon this amazing example of both. From a branding standpoint Puma has weaved in and out of Adidas, Reebok and Nike for years. The stories behind these brands are filled with soap opera like tales. From an environmental standpoint, Puma City (the name alone is means for greatness)  is built out of mobile storage containers, flexible, and and so well branded, just like their shoes.  The space was designed by LOT-EK, the studio’s philosophy is to “blur the boundaries between art, architecture, entertainment and information.”Â

“Puma City is a truly experimental building that takes full advantage of the global shipping network already in place. At 11,000 square feet of space, it is the first container building of its scale to be truly mobile, designed to respond to all of the architectural challenges of a building of its kind, including international building code, dramatic climate changes, plug-in electrical and HVAC systems and ease of assembly and operations.”

Thanks to treehugger, LOT-EK and Erin Flynn, of Elements of Style, who went to Stuff Magazine’s party at Puma City on April 28, 2009.Â
